My name is Camilla. I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback called Tootsie (although we also call her Babe), she is four years old, just six years younger than me! Tootsie was given to me as a sixth birthday present. Tootsie's face reminds me of an Egyptian queen. At first she was a wild thing but she quickly settled down to become a very humanised dog. She is one of the family, she sits on the settee, sleeps on our beds when she is allowed to (which is not often) and likes the food we eat, providing it is meat sausages or chocolates (which are bad for her, so she rarely has one). She is: elegant, beautiful, loyal, loving, an alpha female, dainty, fussy, intelligent, fast, a true friend, wonderful guard and lots of fun.

Ridgebacks make lovely family dogs for energetic families, they just love to run, but families must make a commitment to the pup to train & socialise it. They are not too hard to train if you bribe them!! We do try to educate prospective owners about Ridgebacks, and we do provide a detailed puppy pack with all sorts of info in it. We also provide an after sales helpline! We also check for dermoid sinus. We adhere to The Kennel Club Code of Ethics. All our puppies are KC registered, and Identichipped.
